Last night my husband and I coincidentally met in the kitchen looking for something sweet, he was debating going out for ice cream and I was scrounging through the pantry for something to whip up. I came across this canning jar of ingredients and the tag read "Chocolate Chunk Blondies". I remembered my Mother In-law had made these for gifts at Christmas, perfect! I followed the directions on the tag, adding 1/2 cup of butter, 2 eggs and 1 tsp of vanilla. The results, delicious!
I believe this is the recipe she used, it's just broken down into dry ingredients in the jar and wet ingredients on the tag.
I plan to make some this fall and keep them on hand for last minute hostess gifts. I love these packaging ideas!
